It’s time to introduce you to our incredible Echidna’s educating team, led by the calm, kind, and knowledgeable Sam, Ash, Zoe, and Mel. Our dedicated team is passionate about supporting children’s independence and creating opportunities for exploration through storytelling, arts and crafts, imaginative play in our home corner, and learning within our thoughtfully curated play spaces that emphasise texture, nature, literacy, and enjoyment.
In the Echidnas room, we recognise the significance of building strong relationships. Our educators are committed to meeting each child’s needs while fostering a welcoming, cheerful atmosphere that encourages children to confidently explore their environment.
Our Echidnas room provides meaningful opportunities for socialisation with peers and promotes a communication-rich environment. Our educators consistently utilise expressive language throughout their curriculum, incorporating music, sensory play, puzzles and a variety of fine and gross motor experiences.
Similar to our Possums room, our Echidnas team strives to establish secure attachments with our children, we believe this foundation is crucial for their future development and contributes to a consistent and safe environment. Over the coming weeks, we look forward to support children’s reception and expressive language through open-ended play.
